Orientation News:
The Back to School Pizza Party and Orientation will take place in the cafeteria on Wednesday, August 18 starting at 5:30 pm.  Sign up sheets for committees will be available and gently used uniforms will be on sale.  We are asking parents to bring baked goods for dessert.  Please contact Maria Votava ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Uniform News:
If shopping at Land's End be sure to use the school code #900132820.  OLPH receives a 3% contribution.

Fundraising and Recycling:
We will be recycling juice pouches again this year.  Recycling boxes will be in the cafeteria once school begins.  Last year, we recycled 8,523 pouches earning $170.46 for our school.

Please re-link your Harris Teeter Vic Cards.  OLPH code is 2145.  You can re-link online (www.Harristeeter.com) or at the store.   If re-linking on-line, click on Together in Education, Link Your VIC Card.  If we have 100 people linked, then we are eligible for the Teacher of Excellence Award. We can earn an additional $1,000 for the school and one of our wonderful teachers.  Tell your friends and families to link their cards to our school.

You can also use your Food Lion MVP card to earn money for our school.  Go to www.foodlion.com, click on Good Neighbors, Community, Lion Shop and Share, Register MVP Card, click select organization, add MVP and fill in the information.

If you have a Target Red Card, then you can earn even more money as you shop.  Go to Target.com, Target Supports Schools, Take Care of Education, Help your school, and apply or register your card.  OLPH code #12583.

The HSA sends information to parents via the website and email.  Please make sure I have your email address.
